Les Arcs
Villages between 1,600 and 2,000 m · slopes up to 3,226 m
Les Arcs brings together four villages built for skiing, Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, plus Peisey-Vallandry. Many lodgings are right on the slopes, and the Vanoise Express cable car links the resort to La Plagne. From the top of the Aiguille Rouge, at 3,226 m, a run of about 7 km goes down to the village of Villaroger.
- Ski from your lodging's door
- Arc 1950: a pedestrian-only village, with shops and restaurants
- Funicular straight from Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station to Arc 1600
Who it is for: Every level, from those who have never skied to those who want demanding slopes.
